It's A Madge Madge Madge World
For those foolish enough to think that you'll be able to get a glimpse of her and brave enough to wade through the enourmous crowds, here is your chance to see Madge. Madonna will make a book appearance at Borders on Columbus Circle on June 8th at 4pm. She will be there to promote her new book, "Lotsa De Casha". Good Luck!
In related news, it's interesting to see that in her fourth book "The Adventures of Abdi" some of the characters in the illustrations (whether intentional or not) bare a striking resemblance to Madge. The illustrators, Andrej Dugin and Olga Dugina's most recent project was conceptual illustration for the film "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban".
In other Madge news, Madonna.com posted a statement with her reaction on the news of Kylie Minogue's recent battle with breast cancer. I reads:
- "I was saddened to learn about Kylie Minogue's breast cancer diagnosis. I'm so grateful that they found it early. (Yet another reminder for all women to have annual mammograms.) Aside from being tremendously talented, Kylie's a fighter and I know this is a battle she will win. Let's all pray for her speedy recovery and send all of our best wishes her way. With love and light to you Kylie...Madonna"
And lastly, Simon LeBon of Duran Duran is the only straight man I know to be disgusted by Madge and Brit's 2003 lesbian kiss.
