The Week in Review

  • Spy reporter revealed -James D. Guckert AKA Jeff Gannon was accredited by the White House as a reporter for the conservative Web sites Talon News and GOPUSA.  During news conferences he was regularly called on for questions by President Bush, in which he lobs softball questions at him.  He owns numerous domain names, including jeffgannon.com, Hotmilitarystud.com, Militaryescorts.com, and Militaryescortsm4m.com and an allegedly legit shirtless AOL profile.  via Towleroad.

  • Mayor Waffler - The tightrope being walked by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is a thin wire over a chasm of potential political oblivion.  His hypocritical stance on backing gay marriage but opposing the New York Superior Court allowing it, has the Mayor standing amid an unsatisfied crowd, friends and foes alike.  Gavin Newsom blasts Mayor's inconsistency.  via 365gay, SFGate and The Advocate.
